đ¤ âShould I Even Bother Creating This?â
Weâve all had that moment.
You’re staring at a notebook full of ideas, wondering if any of them are worth your time⌠or if you’re about to waste three weeks making something your audience didnât ask for. đŹ
Hereâs the good news: you donât need to guess whether your idea is worth creating.
You can test itâbefore you ever create a single Canva slide or open a Google Doc.
Â
𧪠Step 1: The Gut Check (aka âDo I Even Like This?â)
Before we talk money or marketâletâs talk you.
Ask yourself:
⢠Am I excited to talk about this idea?
⢠Can I see myself helping others with it?
⢠Does this align with what I want to be known for?
If itâs a yesâawesome!
If itâs âmehââskip it. Youâre going to spend time with this baby.Â
Make sure you like it.
Â
đ Step 2: Listen to What Your People Are Asking For
Go where your people hang out and notice:
⢠What questions are they asking?
⢠What problems keep popping up?
⢠What words do they use to describe their struggles?
If your idea solves a real problem they care about, you’re already halfway there.
Pro tip: You can even ask them directly!
Try a poll, a âthis or thatâ post, or a quick email saying,Â
âWould you be interested in this?â
đŚ Step 3: Package It and Pitch It (Before Itâs Built)
Before creating the whole thing, test the offer.
Write a mini sales page, social post, or mockup of the product.Â
Then:
⢠Share it with your list or audience
⢠Track interest (clicks, replies, DMs, likes, etc.)
⢠Consider taking pre-orders or running a beta version
If people are willing to say âYESâ before it exists⌠youâve got gold. â¨
